The Mary Queen of Angels Legion of Mary is a worldwide Catholic, apostolic organization founded by the Servant of God Frank Duff in 1921 in Dublin, Ireland. The Legion has almost 11 million members and has been praised by many Popes. Our founder, Frank Duff, was invited to be a lay observer to the Second Vatican Council where he addressed the cardinals.
The Junior Legion of Mary is for young people in 3rd grade to 8th grade at Saint Ann School. Some of the works performed by Juniors include:
Legion work is always done in pairs, and a senior Legion member always accompanies the juniors - unless the work is done in the educational setting of a parish school. Legion members meet weekly; the juniors meeting is only one hour long and consists of prayers, a reading, and reports of work done.
