In response to the generosity of our parishioners from the diocesan "Faith in Our Future Campaign," the Church of Saint Ann was able to provide additional funding to our Partner Parish of San Andres in Sajcabaja, Guatemala, Central America, for the making of chapel benches needed for the people who live in the villages that make up the parish. The benches were made by local carpenters who live and serve in the parish. The letter below is from Sr. Barbara who serves as a pastoral minister for San Andres.

Dear Church of Saint Ann,
 
The benches for the first 10 chapels have been completed and are on their way to the respective villages.  Attached are photos of the first delivery.  Our sacristan, Andres, accompanies each delivery to ensure they reach their destiny safely.

The people are so grateful and will include you in their prayers as well as remembering the parish of Saint Ann´s every time they sit on a bench instead of the floor!
