A response of the Sisters of St. Joseph to our commitment to the flourishing of Earth and responding to the unmet needs of persons who are poor, marginalized, and vulnerable. As we celebrate Earth Day, please join us to learn about Change for Global Change, a sponsored work of the Sisters of St. Joseph, in response to their commitment to work for clean water and environmental sustainability in every part of the world. C4GC is a non-profit that provides education on the growing water crisis on our planet and raises money through small donations of “change” to fund water projects in developing parts of the world where the SSJs minister and serve. 

We will pray and reflect on the gift of the Earth and its resources, using messages from Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudato Si, the core values of the Sisters of Saint Joseph, and Catholic Social Teaching. Mary Vanderhoof, a SSJ Associate in Mission and Board member of Change for Global Change, will give a presentation on the work that C4GC has accomplished over the past 12 years, including funding 65 clean water/sustainability projects in 15 countries.
